I wrote a novel about a New Mexican woman whose entire life was clouded by secrecy
thanks to the perception she would live the life of a freak if her alleged duality, the result of the
claim her birth mother was abducted and impregnated by aliens became public. In THE EYES HAVE IT, my cast of characters deals with this possibility on several levels: disbelief, aversion, acceptance, fear, curiousity, and greed.
That today's headlines: Britain releases secret UFO documents was accompanied by an official saying it had become an irritation prompted me to blog today. An irritation! Meanwhile even the Vatican has created a meeting of 30 respected scientists and physicists, and astronomers, to discuss the possibility of life beyond our planet lends credence to the theme of my book—even the impossible is possible.
