"You Know the Truth is Out There. Let's Unite and Expose the Truth!"
have you ever been where there is very little light pollution and get to lean back and just observe the night sky? I live way back in the hills and mountains of Kentucky. Its a mile and a half in any direction to to any other residence. Its also a mile and a half to any other security light or street light. I stare up at the stars, look at the moon, and feel humbled by how minute a thing I am. Not getting philosophical here, just love looking off into space. Do any of you have any suggestions as to a small, affordable, from a man of meager means, a telescope that I could purchase to give me some better viewing of things?
Second question at my longitude and latitude (Eastern Kentucky) latitude 37.785720 long. -86.00601 Would Venus be to the bottom right of the moon, or south east as viewed from here? Is this question to far fetched to be accurately answered?
